About the Position
The Adult Medicine Physician will be working at a large FQHQ in a medically underserved community focusing mainly on Geriatric patients over the age of 65. You will need to be comfortable treating adults during evaluation, treatment, and management. Although many patients will come to you with acute issues, you will also need to screen for all chronic diseases. This position may also include clinical oversight for mid-level providers. Although you will have scheduled hours to work in the clinic, you will also need to be available for on-call services as required in addition to clinical or operations-related meetings that may take place after-hours.

Requirements
- Medical Doctorate (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Current Texas licensure
- Primary Care Speciality (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine)
- Community healthcare experience
- Experience working with Geriatric (60+) community
- Ability to code for Medicare Advantage
- Spanish speaking, preferred
